Costa Rica 2015 is going to be an Eco-Venture! We've decided to alternate the trips with the years...one year and eco-tour and the next an eco-venture.
What's the difference?
Well, an eco-tour is going to be following established routes throughout Costa Rica, and staying in hotels that are held to American standards, such as rooms with temperature control, constant electricity, and full privacy.
An eco-venture is a much more adventurous trip altogether. We will stretching ever further into the Jungle, staying in eco-lodges that utilize solar power and hot water...meaning we have hot water while the sun is shining, and about 6 hours of electricity per night. Not that you don't have privacy, but the rooms are screened with mosquito netting and lined with lightweight drapery in lieu of air conditioning. Nothing unsafe...we wouldn't stand for that...but there will be times when the creature comforts afforded to us in America will not always be available. We like to say, "roughin it." That being said, we'll be able to get into places that other tour companies would never be able to venture. We'll be able to take you deeper into the rain forest, further out into the ocean, and immersed more comprehensively into the culture than an eco-tour.
Choose wisely to suit your individual needs.
Costa Rica 2015 will be taking us back into our original Costa Rica tours in order for you to experience the "real" jungle wildlife and Tico culture. We'll be heading back into the heart of the rainforest, the lungs of the Earth, and soul of the Country.
Please join us for this authentic journey.
Sincerely,
Eric and Darlene
