Support our Native Bees Project

Whether it's a bee block display or a full-blown bee wall, we want to support our native bees in meaningful and educational ways.  We've already put one Bee Block Display in Caleb Smith State Park (Smithtown, NY) and another is requested at Hoyt Farm (Smithtown, NY).  Anyone taking on the Bee Wall Project (shown in photo) would be a first on Long Island!

Kiosk for educational purposes / trail head

Kiosks are a great way to display information about a trail or a project while also protecting it from weather and wildlife.  2 kiosks are needed to mark trail heads in East Patchogue.  1 kiosk is needed to provide information about a vernal pond in Manorville.  1 kiosk is needed to label educational information about wildlife in Smithtown (all Long Island, NY sites).

Save our Vernal Ponds.  Our local frog and salamander ponds are few and far between.  This project seeks to monitor a local vernal pond as well as create awareness about their ecological importance.
