Marine Explorers (Ages 8-15)

The Marine Explorers Group is designed for the young "nature kid" in mind...allowing our campers to get their hands on fish, sea stars, snails, horseshoe crabs, and more...learning HOW to safely handle these animals and humanely treat them...is at the heart of our camp.  We successfully fuse art and science to create a fun and rewarding experience!

Campers will participate in activities such as:
  • Create a touch tank with marine organisms collected on our marine research vessel and excursions into the salt marsh.
  • Learn to use a microscope and other science equipment
  • Each week will focus on a different animal group, such as Shark Week, Birds, Mammals, and more.
  • Making useful crafts such as tote bags and sun visors.
